Insect art at Country Park

YOUNGSTERS are being invited to take part in a mini-beast and bug hunt at Yeovil Country Park on April 9.
After a day of hunting in the park's woodlands, visitors will be able to make their own artistic image of their favourite bug using clay and beans.
The event - which has been funded by the Lottery's Breathing Places Fund - is free of charge and sessions run from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm.
It has been organised by South Somerset District Council's countryside rangersr and is suitable for children aged from eight to 12, but the under-eights are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult.

Hideouts at country park

CHILDREN are being challenged to build their own den hideouts at Yeovil Country Park in an event run by South Somerset District Council.
The event will include tribal team games, challenges and den building skills to build a tribal identity' within the clan.
The event - which is funded by the Lottery's Breathing Places Fund - is free of charge and sessions run on Friday, April 11, from 10am to 12noon and from 2pm to 4pm.
